Low-toxicity does not have to mean low performance, but it does mean adjusting technique. Gentler surfactants need contact time, so spray, walk away for two minutes, and let the product work instead of scrubbing immediately.
Our standard kit is small on purpose: a pH-neutral all-purpose spray, a citric acid descaler for bathrooms, an enzymatic cleaner for kitchens, and good microfibre. Four products and clean cloths outperform a cupboard full of specialist bottles.
Where we do reach for something stronger is neglected grease and mould. Even then, the correct answer is usually more dwell time and a decent scraper rather than a harsher chemical in a poorly ventilated room.
